Harry Carr contributes bass and vocals to the Last Fall lineup. Over the last decade, he has enjoyed performing with original bands around Pittsburgh including Christopher Truth, The Chalkboys, Barbara Blue, Seventh House, Atomic TV, and Driver Six. Each of those bands have performed in Pittsburgh's premier original band showcase - the annual Graffiti Rock Challenge. Several of the bands have also been featured in live radio interviews, on-air performances and concerts including opening spots for national acts. During the past year, Driver Six has appeared on the 91.3 "WYEP Lunchtime Concert Series", the 92.9 "WESA Morning Show", and the "Friday Coffee House" segment of the 102.5 "WDVE Morning Show with Scott Paulson and Jim Krenn." Several of Harry's original compositions have received radio airplay. Most recently "Are You Listening" aired on the "The X-Files with Brandon Davis" on 105.9 WXDX.
While a member of Christopher Truth, Harry recorded demos with Cy Curnin of The Fixx who served as Producer as well as added his trademark vocals. The Fixx is known for such hits as "One Thing Leads to Another", "Red Skies at Night" and "Stand or Fall".
Harry occasionally gigs with his former band, Driver Six, and can be heard on the band's 1997 debut CD "I Could Have Been Someone." You can pick up a copy of the CD from Harry, from your local National Record Mart (NRM), or at any Driver Six show.
